Introduction

FillnChill (“FNC”, “we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a simple, offline-first household pantry tracker published by Bharat Apps Lab. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use it on your Android device.

We designed FNC so your pantry data stays on your phone. We do not operate user accounts, cloud sync, or advertising networks.

Information We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on our servers.

All information you enter in the app is saved locally on your device, including:

• Pantry items (names, quantities, units, categories, stock status)
• Shopping list items
• Your display name (optional)
• Notification preferences
• App settings and onboarding completion state

This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it yourself.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not:

• Create user accounts or require sign-in
• Sync your data to the cloud or our servers
• Sell, rent, or trade your information
• Use analytics or advertising SDKs to track you
• Access contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or location

Notifications

FNC can send optional local notifications such as:

• Daily pantry check-in reminders
• Low-stock alerts
• Out-of-stock reminders

These notifications are generated and displayed on your device only.

To support reminders, the app may request permissions such as:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM
• USE_EXACT_ALARM
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
• WAKE_LOCK

You can disable notifications at any time without affecting the rest of the app.

How We Use Information

Because all data stays on your device, we do not use your information for profiling, marketing, or automated decision-making.

The app uses locally stored data only to:

• Display pantry and shopping list information
• Calculate stock status
• Schedule local reminders you choose to enable

Data Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties.

No data is shared with advertisers, data brokers, or social networks.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data remains on your device until you:

• Delete items inside the app
• Clear app storage in Android settings
• Uninstall FillnChill

Since we never store your data on our servers, we cannot recover it after deletion.

Children’s Privacy

FillnChill is a general household utility app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Your data is protected by your device's operating system and app sandbox. We recommend securing your device with a PIN, password, or biometrics.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by changing the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
